Through seamless collaboration between the Architect and our Design and Building teams, the project navigated the challenges of the pandemic, supply chain issues, and client preferences, resulting in a stunning living environment that brings comfort, elegance, and cutting-edge technology under one roof.
Project Goals
The clients sought to create a home with the latest advancements in technology and enhance their living experience. Their vision encompassed whole home control technology from Crestron, encompassing lighting, audio, security, and shade control. Additionally, they aimed to integrate their existing furniture seamlessly into the new design while adding character through creative elements like feature ceilings, captivating light fixtures, hidden doors, and exquisite wallcoverings.
Challenges

- Preserving Existing Furniture: To honor the clients' sentimental connection to their existing furniture, the design team thoughtfully incorporated these pieces into the new layout while harmoniously blending them with new additions.
- Enhancing Character: Creative touches, such as feature ceilings, elegant light fixtures, hidden doors, and stunning wallcoverings, were strategically placed throughout the home to add character and elevate the overall ambiance.
- Kitchen Ladder: One of the unique client requests was a ladder in their kitchen, which was successfully incorporated into the design, marrying functionality with aesthetics.
- Exterior Design: Our Interior Design team played a crucial role in aiding exterior material selection. This collaboration achieved a cohesive transition from the outside to the inside, creating an immediate sense of comfort and expectation.

- Primary Bathroom: The Primary Bathroom includes a double shower and heated floors, creating a spa-like retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation.
- Screened Outdoor Living Area: The screened outdoor living area includes a functional fireplace, plentiful seating and an adjacent grilling station.
- Basement Entertainment Space: The basement was transformed into an entertainment haven with an exercise room, a large wet bar, and accent brick, providing ample opportunities for recreation and leisure.
- Continuity in Design: Our Interior Design team succeeded in creating a cohesive palette that complemented the clients' existing furniture, ensuring a harmonious design flow throughout the home.
